Red Light Cameras Gone in the City of Atlanta?

The City of Atlanta's been operating the red light cameras at the intersection of Boulevard NE and Freedom Parkway NE/S.R. 10 and Monroe Drive NE and Piedmont Road NE without a permit since January of this year; therefore, they have to turn all monies made this year over to the State of Georgia, and must also turn off the cameras at these intersections. The only other intersections that have red light cameras in Atlanta proper are Spring Street NW and North Avenue NW/U.S. 29/78/278/S.R. 8 and Cleveland Avenue SW and Metropolitan Parkway SW/U.S. 19/41/S.R. 3, and the City can continue operating the cameras at these intersections.

Those motorists who received tickets at the intersections operating without a permit from the State may get their money refunded.
